Object Studio is a creative design & making studio, based in a beautiful old forest on the edge of Amsterdam. The ‘design & make’ projects aim to create beautiful objects that help people to feel good and discover new things, combined with living a sustainable and joyful life.
Since we were little kids we love to play outside, make fires, build treehouses as well connect to beautiful people and nature on a deeper level. Helping everyone in need of practical and down-to-earth solutions for problems they encounter seems to be in our blood.
Now we are dedicated design professionals, still doing the same type of work, still with lot of joy, free experiment and fun.
Subject Studio is a Life Design studio that focusses on personal growth of creative people and creative teams.
There’s always a person behind every creation, and both the ‘subject’ and the ‘object’ are developing, simultaneously and on-the-go.
To propel personal growth, similar creative techniques to what we use as product designers are used, e.g. Design Thinking. We combine them with coaching techniques that are used by life-coaches and psychologists.
This magic combiation helps people to set and reach their creative goals, grow as a person or team and learn about life on a deeper level.
